Our Bees

We have a large mating apiary near Grantham, Lincolnshire. 

​

Native British Bees are much darker, and are the natural honey bee of the UK and Ireland. They're more suited and adapted to our climate. 

​

In Britain, southern European honey bees filled the void after the native honey bee was badly affected by a virus 100 years ago. 

​

And now, we are working to help establish them as the dominant local stock in our area.
